Composite topological structures in SO(10)

چکیده
A bstract We explore a variety of composite topological structures that arise from the spontaneous breaking SO(10) to SU(3) c × U(1) em via one its maximal subgroups SU(5) χ , SU(4) SU(2) L R and X (also known as flipped SU(5)). They include i) network ℤ strings which develop monopoles turn into necklaces with structure 2 strings, ii) dumbbells connecting two different types monopoles, or antimonpoles, iii) starfish-like configurations, iv) polypole v) walls bounded by necklace. display these both before after electroweak breaking. The appearance in early universe their astrophysical implications including gravitational wave emission would depend on symmetry patterns scales, nature associated phase transitions.

Deformation Characteristics of Composite Structures
The composites provide design flexibility because many of them can be moulded into complex shapes. The carbon fibre-reinforced epoxy composites exhibit excellent fatigue tolerance and high specific strength and stiffness which have led to numerous advanced applications ranging from the military and civil aircraft structures to the consumer products. However, the modelling of the beams undergoin...
متن کاملTopological Complexity in Protein Structures
Abstract: For DNAmolecules, topological complexity occurs exclusively as the result of knotting or linking of the polynucleotide backbone. By contrast, while a few knots and links have been found within the polypeptide backbones of some protein structures, non-planarity can also result from the connectivity between a polypeptide chain and interand intra-chain linking via cofactors and disulfide...
متن کاملExtraction of Topological Structures
Analyzing large and high-dimensional flow data sets is a non-trivial task and favorably carried out using sophisticated tools which allow to concentrate on the most relevant information and to automate the analysis. These goals can be achieved using topological methods, which foster target-oriented studies of the most important flow features. They have a variety of applications which ranges fro...

and Applied Analysis 3 As a result of 2.2 we obtain, for each x, y ∈ 0, 1 , T ( x, y ) ≤ T x, 1 x, T ( x, y ) ≤ T ( 1, y ) y. 2.5 Since, for all x, y ∈ 0, 1 , trivially T x, y ≥ 0 TD x, y , we get for an arbitrary t-norm T , TD ≤ T ≤ TM. 2.6 That is, TD is weaker and TM is stronger than any other t-norms. Also since TL < TP , we obtain the following ordering for four basic t-norms TD < TL < TP ...
متن کاملOrdered Topological Structures
The paper discusses interactions between order and topology on a given set which do not presuppose any separation conditions for either of the two structures, but which lead to the existing notions established by Nachbin in more special situations. We pursue this discussion at the much more general level of lax algebras, so that our categories do not concern just ordered topological spaces, but...
